A Custom CMS Platform with Laravel, Bootstrap and Node.js
Project Overview
Evalogical built a custom Content Management System (CMS) which used Laravel, Bootstrap and Node.js to make it scalable, secure, and easy for users. The CMS can run many business activities including content creation, user management, project management etc.

Solution Features
- Strong System ArchitectureUsed Laravel for MVC architecture enabling structured backend. Asynchronous tasks were managed by Node.js leading real-time operations while ensuring non-blocking I/O processes. The responsive mobile-first design was achieved using Bootstrap on the front end.
- Comprehensive User ManagementBuilt on Laravel’s authentication features, developed role-based access control system so that administrators may create roles having specific permissions. Users can manage their profiles as well as track everything they do.
- Efficient Content ManagementIncluded blog management capabilities for users who can create, edit, or manage posts with support for categories, tags and multimedia within them. Also provided a centralized media library for managing images, videos, etc.
- Advanced Project ManagementCreated prototypes designed for project initiation plus monitoring therefore permitting assignment of duties as well as progress check. Additionally, presence of comments, and file-sharing options, together with activity logs help boost teamwork abilities.
- Effective Ticketing SystemBuilt a ticketing system in which customers could raise support requests such as bugs or feature requests. These tickets have status tracked by admins who are also responsible for their allocation thus ensuring proper handling and resolution.
- Security EnhancementsFor user authentication, we implemented two-factor authentication (2FA) and role-based access control. To protect sensitive data, encryption was used, and regular security audits were conducted to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate them.
- Performance OptimizationMade use of caching mechanisms like Node.js asynchronous processing and database optimization techniques to ensure fast loading times as well as responsive application performance.
- Deployment & MaintenanceThe CMS was deployed on cloud-based servers with auto-scaling capabilities. CI/CD pipelines were also established for automated testing, building, and deploying updates for smooth release purposes. Monitoring and logging tools were integrated to track system performance and user activities.
