Project Overview
The client partnered with Evalogical to develop a travel guide application called “Reach My Station”, which provides a comprehensive guide to all people who travel to different places in India. The application consists of various aspects like historical and modern tourist destinations, travel tips, foods and drinks, tourist accommodations, things and places to visit, and include emergency services. The project comprises of building the main company’s website, the web application, iOS and Android mobile applications, and an administrative web application.
Objectives
- Create a Multi-Platform SolutionDevelop a website, web application, and iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Enhance User ExperienceProvide comprehensive, accurate, and practical travel that inspires and informs global travelers.
- Integrate Key FeaturesProvide information on tourist destinations, hotels, restaurants, transportation options, and emergency services. Include login options, ad support, and vendor listing capabilities.
- Support Scalability and Future UpdatesDesign an architecture that allows for easy updates and the integration of new features as needed.
Solutions Implemented
- Multi-Platform DevelopmentDeveloped separate applications for different platforms—React Native was used for iOS and Android apps, while ReactJS, PHP, HTML, and CSS were used for the web application.
- Comprehensive Feature IntegrationImplemented features to provide detailed information such as payment gateways, and Google Maps.
- User Management and AccessDeveloped a robust backend with a web admin panel for managing users, destinations, hotels, restaurants, transportation, emergency services, and antique shops. Implemented login options for registered users, Facebook, Google, and guest users.
- Vendor Listing and Payment IntegrationAdded functionality for vendors to list their properties on the platform, including the ability to make payments through the application. This feature allows the platform to generate revenue by charging vendors for listings.
- Scalability and Future UpdatesDesigned the application architecture to be scalable, easily manageable, and support future upgrades and integrations seamlessly.
- Ad and Promotion SupportIntegrated Google AdSense to promote ads within the application.
